Dāshaun Washington is a Wallace Stegner Fellow in Poetry at Stanford University. He has received support from Yaddo, the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, Lighthouse Works, Ucross Foundation, The Watering Hole, and beyond. His work has appeared in New England Review, Poetry, The Nation, Poem-a-Day, American Poetry Review, and elsewhere. He is a graduate of Eastfield College, the University of Texas at Dallas, and the MFA for Poets & Writers at UMass Amherst. He currently lives in San Francisco.
